TARAJI P. Henson has come to tears while detailing the obstacles she's facing in her career during a Sirius XM interview.
Taraji showed her vulnerable side as she spoke about her talent being undervalued in Hollywood.

The actress, 53, appeared visibly upset when she disclosed to the radio interviewer that she was tired of not being adequately compensated for her work.
"I'm just tired of working so hard. Being gracious at what I do, [and] getting paid a fraction of the cost," Taraji said in a shaky voice on the verge of tears.
"I'm tired of hearing her sisters say the same thing over and over."
The Empire star divulged that people often comment on how much she works, explaining that she works so much because she "has to."

The Oscar-winning performer went on to reveal what comes with being an A-list actor who is constantly working in the industry.
"When you start working a lot, you have a team," Taraji unfolded.
"Big bills come with what we do. we don't do this alone. It's a whole entire team behind us. They have to get paid."
Taraji's Color Purple remake co-stars, who were also being interviewed alongside her, uttered in agreement.

Taraji emotionally speaking on her career in the Sirius XM interview was shared in a clip on X, fka Twitter.

NOT HOLDING BACK
Irrespective of the struggles happening in her life, Taraji is still trying to make the world a better place.
Taraji made an appearance on Kelly Clarkson's, 41, show on Thursday and didn't hold back when it came to describing the village she created for her kids.
She said: "My team thinks I'm crazy because I have a lot of villages and a lot of houses."
Kelly admitted she has her own village, revealing: "So my son decided because we have islands - we have New York and Brooklyn - maybe next year we'll add Jersey."
Taraji then said: "I'm adding a road, I added a carousel. I added an ice skating rink."
Kelly interjected excitedly: "We have an ice skating rink!"
Taraji went on: "I have a water fountain. I have a police station and a fire station."
